Words to live by....

Hello Everyone!

I have been feeling low lately.... So I needed some reminder for myself. What could be a better way to inspire yourrself, than putting your thoughts down on paper...

As you all know I hate writing, & I'm always short at words, so I just wrote down what I meant in 1 word each time. Here is my process......
When I completed inking my rough draft.... it felt beautiful by itself... but I needed more, so I decided to add a bit of color to it....

Once I added these bold colors my true inspiration, the words seem to be hidden. Finding them was more important, so I went in & made them bold....

I loved the way the entire thing came out to be.... I found inspiration for this art from Lindsay Ostrom.  She has some beautiful artwork at her blog. So what are the words that inspire you...???  Would love to see what you can create. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

To-do List

Hello Everyone!!!!
Last few days I have been trying to do a lot of things & at the same I keep ignoring a few other priorities in life. So I think that its time that I rethink & reschedule everything. So I gifted myself a fancy doodles to-do list.

I think I have been putting my priorities aside & not concentrating on more important things in life. So here's what I need to do:
  1. Stop making excuses.  "The lazy man is full of excuses"I think it is completely applicable to me right now. I keep pushing things on tomorrow. And as we all know that "Tomorrow never comes". I keep saying a number of times that "When things settle down, then I'm going to ... start exercising , follow a healthy diet, start paper crafting again ......etc...." & the list goes on. Things will never settle down. I have recently realized that I will need to prioritize things in order for them to happen
  2. Start today. Not next month, next week, or tomorrow. "Never boast about tomorrow. You don't know what will happen between now and then".  I will list things to-do everyday & act on them.
  3. Establish a planned schedule.  "A wise man plans ahead. A fool doesn't".  If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail. So I'm going to designate some specific time slots each week for the things I need to do. Whatever it is, put it on the calendar. And if it’s a big task, break it down into small pieces. Break it into bite-size pieces.
  4. Face your fears. We hate to admit we have fears, because we think they’re a sign of weakness. But fear is a sign of humanity. I have heard that “Courage is not the absence of fear; it's moving ahead in spite of our fears'.
  5. Focus on what you gain, not the pain. There are very few things in life that are easy. You must push through the frustration and look at the gain beyond the pain. Concentrate on how good you're going to feel once you've finished the task. No one said  that life would be easy. There will be sacrifice and commitment. But there is tremendous reward when we do the things that we are meant to do.
  6. Talk About It. I want you to write down three things you know God wants you to do, one item each in these three areas: your family, your personal life, and your career. I'll choose one of those three, and start today!
So there you have it...a to-do list...make a plan...join me, won't you? Whats on your to-do list....????
Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
