Christmas Card - Day 6

Hello Everyone!
Today is day 6 in the Christmas cards series for 2015. If you have just dropped, all my Christmas cards from past are here.

Here's the card for you.

Also here is a close-up of the sentiment.

On a Canson watercolor paper (140 lb), stamped a few snowflakes from various stamp sets using Versamark ink & heat embossed using white embossing powder. Then the background is created by blending various Distress Ink Mini inkpads and Ranger Tim Holtz Mini Ink Blending Tool. Colors used are listed in supplies. Then stamped Christmas sentiment on a navy blue cardstock also using Versamark and heat embossed in white. The word "Merry" is die-cut multiple times, once from golden glitter paper and others from white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Merry & Bright Wafer Dies. I pasted them together and adhered it to the card. Adhered the panel to a card base and rounded all 4 corners of the card. This completes the card.

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

Christmas Card - Day 5

Hello Everyone!

Today I'm back again with 5th card  in the Christmas cards series for 2015. If you have just dropped, all my Christmas cards from past are here.

Let's first have a look at today's card

Today's card is a very vintage and chic looking filigree card. I wanted to make a die-crazy card for a long time. I created the card base using the technique mentioned by Becca Feeken in this video here. I have used the Spellbinders - A2 Tranquil Moments die set. I used Distress Ink mini - Evergreen bough to add shading to the center piece. The sentiment from Hero Arts - Christmas Holiday Sentiment Clear Stamp set is stamped in same ink. The flower is created from the smallest 3 dies from Spellbinders - Rose Creations die set. I added a pinch of distress to the flower using Distress Ink mini - Tattered rose. The turquoise flourish is die cut from My Favorites things - Fancy Flourish. Finally embellished the flower & card with rhinestones.

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

Christmas Card - Day 4

Hello Everyone!
Today I'm back again with 4th card  in the Christmas cards series for 2015. If you have just dropped, all my Christmas cards from past are here.
Lets first see today’s card!

I started by stamping the focal image, its from the Verve Stamps - Light My World stamp set. I colored it using Faber Castell watercolor pencils. I accented the centers of the poinsettias & flames of the candles using RangerInk Glossy Accents. Then to add a charm , stamped a few stars from the same stamp set & embellished with rhinestones. I die-cut this image in oval shape using Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large & later adhered  this oval panel on another panel die-cut from patterned paper using Spellbinders Flora Ovals.  The sentiment is also from same stamp set, stamped on a decorated label panel die-cut from ArtC Thank you set (got it at Michael's). Finally I put together the card by adhering a chritsmas themed pattern paper on card base, then added a red cardstock panel to it and lastly added the focal image & sentiment penls to it using glue tape & foam tape.

I'm submitting this card to 2 challenges: Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge (Holly Jolly Stamping)

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

Christmas Card - Day 3

Hello Everyone!
Today I'm back again with 3rd card  in the Christmas cards series for 2015. If you have just dropped, all my Christmas cards from past are here.
Lets first see today’s card!

Today's card is a really simple one. I stamped the christmas tree image from Hero Arts - Family And Friends using Versamark ink and heat embossed in fluorescent green on a dark green cardstock. Then, from the same stamp set, stamped the star & sparkles using Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold. I also  embellised the stamped sparkles with yellow rhinestones, cut the green cardstock in oval shape using Spellbinders Nestabilities. Adhered a few more oval panels in white and patterned paper and attached it to white card base using foam tape. Finally stamped the Christmas sentiment from Hero Arts  - Christmas Holiday Sentiments set on the card base using Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold.

I'm submitting this card to 2 challenges: Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge (Holly Jolly Stamping) and CASology # 176

Holiday Gift Idea

Hello Everyone!

Today I have a different kind of post for you all. We all need to scratch our heads a lot while making our Holiday gift list. In them there are some people who are really close but some are not so close but we still have to gift them; such as your kid's teacher or some office colleague. And in such situations you don't know what to gift them. Here is one such gift idea which is not at all expensive , looks cute and the receiver will surely use it.

Here is my gift idea: Fancy Post-it holder

The plastic base is a simple photo frame (4 x 6 inches) from craft store. You can find in the photo frame isle for really less price. I removed the packaging and instead of entering a photo in there I added a patterned paper in there. Attached a co-ordinating ribbon and added some flowers to embellish. Finally I taped a co-ordinating 3 x 3 Post-it notes bunch on it using a double sticky tape. You can also add a co-ordinating pen with it. The reciever can refill the Post-its in future as well. This makes an excellent gift for teachers, moms, sisters, girlfriends etc...

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

PS: If my posts inspire you to create something on similar lines, I feel highly flattered. But please, do respect the effort I take in conceptualizing and executing, please give a direct link to my work when you are inspired by mine. Thanks for understanding :-)

Supplies used:
