7 Days of Christmas - Day 3

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I am back with Day 3 of my Christmas card inspiration. If you have just dropped in, have a look at my other Christmas cards here.

Now let's have a look at today's card.

This is one of the simplest & also my favorite technique to create quick cards. I just created the entire card panel by stamping various  Christmas themed stamps in Versamark ink & heat embossed in gold.

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

PS: If my posts inspire you to create something on similar lines, I feel highly flattered. But please, do respect the effort I take in conceptualizing and executing, please give a direct link to my work when you are inspired by mine. Thanks for understanding :-)

  3. Finally attached the panel to a navy blue A2 sized card base
  4. Finished the card by adhering a few blue colored rhinestones.

7 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Hello Everyone!!!

With the holiday season just around the corner, everyone must be really in hurry to finish off all the card making and post the card off to your loved ones. But then there is always someone that gets left out or you need more last minute cards or gift tags for someone. So this year I am going to post a few easy Christmas / Holiday themed projects which can help you get through the holiday season.

You can view all my past Christmas cards ideas here.

So lets have a look at today's card.

This is a super easy project. here is how I created it.

  1. I started by gold embossing the background on white cardstock.
  2. Then I gold embossed a poinsettia image on bristol cardstock and colored it with watercolor.
  3. I cut out the poinsettia , attached to the center of the background using foam tape.
  4. Added accent colors on the background, attached a few pearls to the background.
  5. Finally stamped & gold embossed sentiment, attached it below the poinsettia using glue.
  6. Finished the card by attaching the white card panel on a A2 sized maroon card base.
I am submitting this card to :

Diwali Rangoli Design Freebie

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I have a special kind of post for you. As a few of you know that Diwali, the festival of lights begins this week on the 18th Oct.  Everyone back home is getting ready by cleaning their homes, making Diwali sweets, shopping for gifts etc...

Everyone talks about how Diwali is all about lights, but the colors of Rangoli are equally important. Rangoli is an art, origin in India in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals. It is usually made during DiwaliOnamPongal and other Indian, Bangladeshi and Nepalese festivals related to Hinduism. Designs are passed from one generation to the next, keeping both the art form and the tradition alive.

Here are a few samples of Rangoli designs for you to view.

I am not quite the artist to do so by hands, but I still try. So on this occasion, I though I would be cool to try something that I am goo at. That is Adobe Illustrator. So I made a similar Rangoli design for all you to use in the form of a coloring page. So lets have a look at it.

This is my gift to all of you this Diwali to download it for free. You can download it for free using the Free Download mentioned below.

I hope you all like this coloring page. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
